WE HAVE A NEW PLAYGROUND !! 😀😀

Image
WE HAVE A NEW PLAYGROUND !! 😀😀 WE HAVE A NEW PLAYGROUND !! 😀😀 It actually opened on Monday 28th August 2017 (Term 3, Week 6)... 💗 And my habitat was the first one to go on (which is why I'm so happy 😀) !! NOTE : PLAYGROUND ON THE RIGHT IS JUST AN IMAGE, NOT THE REAL ORMISTON PRIMARY PLAYGROUND.  Well I have no idea why I'm writing this blog post now because our last turn on the playground happened today at iBreak 2. 😔 Possibly because I'm too busy. 😥Busy on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school (I've got clubs).  Our playground is like a living space (because it is suppose to be one) as well as a play space (that's why it's a playground).  I like all the parts of the playground but the one thing I dislike is the thing that you hold on and spins you (got a headache for 1 hour after being on it for about 2 minutes, non-stop 💥😵). Thanks to my brother who was a part of designing the playground, I loved it (BUT I hate the spinner) . Quite sad that we can...

Speech DRAFT - Finished. (Traffic Light Reflection Format)

Speech DRAFT - Finished. (Traffic Light Reflection Format)  I finally finished my speech draft !! 😀 One learning area I found tricky this week was finding synonyms and emotion languages to include in my speech. But I don't really have to worry about much because I can still revise and edit it.  One learning area I realised I need to improve on is knowing what emotions languages I can use more so that I won't repeat the words I've already used. 👍  Two areas I did really awesome this week are my punctuation  I've put into my speech draft and how I've organised my sentences and paragraphs. 😍 But other than those, everything was great the way they are. 😉   The End - Natasha Y

The Second Ever GEG NZ 2017 !! 😄😄

The Second Ever GEG NZ 2017 !! 😄😄 On Friday the 11th of August 2017, Ormiston Primary and Ormiston Junior hosted the second ever Go ogl e Su mmit  NZ (GEG NZ) !! 😊 On that day, we were super thrilled. We opened our learning brains and get curious on technology.  About 5 or more schools came and participate on this awesome event that only happen in two years. And we are very lucky to be the host of this event this year. 👍 The LH6 learners all got a way to participate on this excellent opportunity of getting connected to technology. There were the presenters, participators, IT monitors, sidekicks and I think there's one or two more. I was a participator. There was also a group where you sing Waiata to welcome people. I was also part of that group. We sang Te Ahora and E Toru Nga Mea.  I learned about the Young Ocean Explorer's experiences and how can we save animals 🙈 in the sea, what Break Out is and how to do Stop Motion. ✋ I liked the Stop Motion workshop ...

Zumba Club Finally Being Successful !!! 😀😀

Zumba Club Finally Being Successful !!! 😀😀 hello welcome back I'm so happy zumba club is so successful **PUNCTUATION DIFFICULTIES** Hello, welcome back !! 😉   I'm extremely happy, today in iBreak 1, Shreya and I was doing Zumba Club in the Multispace. 😉 We called everyone we passed by in LH6 who signed up last time to go to Zumba Club if they have time. Most of them agreed and came, but some of them did not keep their promise and did not turn up. 😟 There was 2 people at first, then we put on the music, more and more people came. 😸 Until what seems like 30-40 learners were in the Multispace dancing to the song. Shreya and I were very, very happy. 😊 At the end, we reminded everyone that Zumba Club will be on at the same time next week. Shreya and I asked a person in our class what they would rate the club as and they said 10 out of 10 !! 👍 A next step for us are to prepare the club more earlier so we can get straight into it. 😊 The End - Natasha

Getting My Literature Circle Book !! 😉😉

Getting My Literature Circle Book !! 😉😉 Welcome back to my blog !!! 😊😊 I haven't written for a few days because I was too busy. 😌 I got my literature circle book though !! 👍 I like the illustration on the front page, it looks really modern. 💗 After reading the blurb, my prediction is probably the rat, Despareaux meeting a princess and they go on some kind of adventure. (It's going to be hard to spell his name correctly.) The rat is so tiny, it makes me connect to another book I've read, How to train your dragon. Hiccup's dragon, Toothless is extraordinary tiny. No matter what, I'm really excited to read this book. 😊 I'm also quite excited for the roles that's going to be applied to everyone reading this book. 😍 Last year I had done literature circle before, but with journals. So I kind of know how to do the roles. There is the 'Discussion Director', 'The Summarizer', 'The Illustrator', 'The Passage Picker...
